Call for submissions

The Seminar will accept both academic productions and explorations or experiments engaging with the commons, including essays, audiovisual productions, performances, ethnographic reports, and workshops. It will consist of hypothesis roundtables in which presenters and attendees will discuss and collectively create original products such as reflections from the seminar.

Submission

The submission of paper abstracts or proposals for workshops or activities must be made online, via google form provided in the link below. Each participant may submit up to three proposals. Papers in Portuguese, Spanish and English will be accepted. The participation formats are described below. 

During the event, activities will be carried out in three languages, without simultaneous language interpretation.

Instructions for submission

        Paper abstract format:

  • Title: limit of 110 characters (can be divided between title and subtitle);

  • Abstract: limit of 300 words;

  • Up to two images. [see format for sending images, identification and captions below]

    Format for proposals of workshops and other activities:

  • Title: limit of 110 characters (can be divided between title and subtitle);

  • Abstract of the proposed activity, including methodology: limit of 300 words;

  • Maximum number of participants;

  • Description of how the workshop will work: platform, necessary materials (for those who will conduct the workshop and for the participants); *possible costs covered by the workshop organizer;

  • Description of the workshop products: images, videos, or other formats.

  • Link for video, see below.

    Format for uploading images with paper abstracts, or abstracts of workshops and other proposed activities:

  • 1.756 x 1.240 pixels;

  • File type: PNG or JPEG;

  • Maximum file size: 10 MB;

  • Landscape format;

  • Name according to the following reference: Author-last-name_image1, Author-lat-name_image2, etc.

  • Caption: up to 150 characters. Insert caption at the end of the text file as follows: image name followed by the caption on the bottom line as shown below:
